We offer rides which can last from one hour to several days. Short rides take place around the valley, riding along the Rich Arm of the Argentinian Lake and nearby places to the main spot: the restaurant of Rio Mitre Estancia, enjoying dreamed landscapes and feeling an unimaginable freedom only hearing the sound of nature: wildlife and all kinds of colourful birds. On the other hand, we also organize longer rides. Some of them consist of what our guests request. These need some time noticed in advance to be prepared. Some others are designed by our guides which are about 10 days journey along the Andes Pre-Hills, and others even visiting towns and posts during the tour. Meet Esteban Echeverría, owner of this ranch, who 7 years ago started with this place, and still day by day decides to put all his effort to the growth of this touristic venture and all its surroundings.
SHORT RIDES DESCRIPTION:
** TWO HOURS RIDE/Daily tours: Guided tour. Visit to the first settlement of Echeverría´s Family which was at the beginning of last century before Perito Moreno Glacier would naturally close for the first time. Later, visit to remains of Indian settlements. Tour along the shores of Lago Rico, one of the arms of the Argentinian Lake, bird watching, fauna and flora as well. Amazing ride!
**FOUR HOURS RIDE/Daily tour: Visit to the first settlement of Echeverría´s Family, visit to ancient indian camping riding along and sometimes crossing Rico Lake till arriving to an old settlement where Martin´s Family lived. (Pioneers of this area). You´ll be delighted by criolla steaks, some good wine and later our traditional MATE poured by our guide. Back to the Restaurant.
